I need the title of this book. Okay, this guy is in love with girl, but for some reason, he can't tell her. Well, he tells this other guy to tell her all these really romantic things, and the girl ends up being in love with both men. Does anyone know the title?

I do know the version was made into a film with Steve Martin called Roxanne..type Roxanne into google and it might come up with the answer but you will need to do alot of trawling.
